My Story
I earned my Master of Architecture from the University of Miami (Coral Gables, FL) and my undergraduate degree from Miami University (Oxford, OH). Over the past decade I worked for award-winning offices on a variety of building typologies of varying scale and complexity. The offices that I worked for include;
Rene Gonzalez Architects (RGA), Miami, Florida. https://renegonzalezarchitects.com/
Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB), Chicago, Illinois. https://scb.com/
Loeb Sarli Architekten, Basel, Switzerland. https://loebsarli.com/
Eric Maria Architectes (EMA), Geneva, Switzerland. https://ericmaria.com/

At the University of Miami School of Architecture, I was fortunate to learn from dedicated professors and practicing architects who believed in the power of place, precedent, and purpose. The curriculum emphasized classical principles and vernacular traditions, with a strong focus on historic preservation and regional identity. That experience shaped how I see architecture—not just as a technical pursuit, but as a cultural and social responsibility. I see the past not only as something to learn from, but something to build upon: a way to reinterpret, reframe, and create something both grounded and forward-looking. My passion lies in single-family residential design, where the impact is personal, lasting, and deeply human. At its best, architecture has the potential to quietly improve lives—and that’s the kind of work I strive to do.
My career has given me the opportunity to work in various cities across the United States, as well as abroad in Switzerland. These experiences have had a profound impact on how I understand the world, how people live, and the relationship between buildings and their physical and cultural contexts. They have shaped my aspiration to create an architecture rooted in place.
Now, I begin a new chapter of my story with my own design studio—focusing on projects that matter to me, and using the wisdom of my past experiences to create buildings and spaces that make a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
